Join Our Team as a Premises and Facilities Lead
We’re hiring a Premises and Facilities Lead to oversee the safety, maintenance, and efficiency of our healthcare premises. If you're skilled in facilities management, great with people, and committed to helping healthcare environments thrive — this role is for you!
Your Key Responsibilities
Site Management
- Monitor repairs and resolve issues promptly
- Carry out basic maintenance and coordinate contractors
- Assist with space planning and office relocations
- Oversee building projects and improvement works
Compliance & Safety
- Manage all statutory safety checks (fire, legionella, PAT, etc.)
- Maintain logs for health & safety and compliance
- Ensure building security: access codes, key holding, alarm systems
- Work with Site Coordinators to uphold hygiene and cleanliness
- Support audits, inspections, and maintenance of medical equipment
Procurement & Budgeting
- Obtain competitive quotes and manage supplier relationships
- Support budgeting for premises-related costs
- Ensure cost-effective solutions for building services
Working With Our Team
You’ll report to the Business Services Manager and work alongside Site Coordinators and the Governance Lead GP, ensuring our premises support the delivery of high-quality care.

Who We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Qualities:
- Experience in facilities or premises management
- Ability to handle minor repairs and liaise with contractors
- Strong time management and organisation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Trustworthy, flexible, and team-oriented
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable:
- Background in NHS or healthcare facilities
- Understanding of CQC compliance
- Familiarity with general practice environments

Safeguarding & Confidentiality
